No magic, no friends, no Dubledore. Just a depressed guy.

So you had a dream that you wrote Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?

No, Harry Potter Vol 1 and Vol 2.

TVG, I swear to god

Yeah a bunch of them.
Both Hermione and the other kid are all in Harry´s head too. When he realizes that, it so heartbroken. All Harry was in his life was a poor depressed guy without friends nor family. Just a deranged fella.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

What a mess. The first half is such a horrible movie. Its a tone mess, part fantasy movie, part adolescent school movie, part kids movie. The cast seems very lost, the effects are not good or they aged terribly. Radcliffe is the only one who really tries to be good in all those different tones.
The movies picks up once they arrive at the cemetery, and of course its because of Voldemort. Fiennes owns this character..he is menacing and at the same time vulnerable.

I have a feeling Voldemort is the best character of this saga.

And wow, Robert Pattison was horrible in this one!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Seems more focused and with a better narrative. Still seems these movies have a two part situation, the first half is something about Hogwarts and Harry being a teen with his friends, clumsy dialogue and worst comedy. The second half is about Voldemort and its all better, very cool action scenes, some deaths, and a great Radcliffe - Finnes interaction.
I realize all i care about is the Voldemort story.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The first one that seems more focused on what it want to tell. The visuals are better, the photography is better...even the acting is way better. I liked Draco´s arc, his mission, his choices....and i liked Harry´s limitations too. The romance between the kids is boring and poorly written, specially between Harry and Ginny, whose actress is horrible.

I guess the next two will be my favorites because its all Voldemort right? No fucking kiddie stuff anymore it seems.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Way better than the previous movies, this one actually feels like a true film, not a tv series or something. I liked the grim and violent aspect of it, the deaths, the fact that Potter seems so lost in all the movie. Too little Voldemort for my taste and a few plot holes and yes, its so fucking long.
But its was cool.

The most underrated one I think, and probably my favorite

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

I liked it enough. Its the first of the series without the need of a backstory, of the kids going through Hogawarts or Harry playing a game of something.
Its a shame Rowling got scared of killing Harry because that ending would have been amazing...making his death the only way to destroy Voldemort...instead we got a crappy ending and a crappier epilogue, a very weird one with their kids going to hogwarts. Very fucking awful.

Gotta say i didnt enjoy these movies. They feel dated, disjointed and mostly boring to me. A few cool moments and a great villain, but nothin else here.

I don’t have time for anyone who doesn’t appreciate the epilogue (it’s the best part of the whole franchise)

Re: the harry potter thread

It was lazy, boring, uninterested. Specially when it could have ended with Harry´s death. THAT could have been perfect, but i guess they got gold feet about it.

So, we got them farting while they wave goodbye to their kids.
