I'll never not enjoy this show despite all the drawbacks. Just a great bit of fun.

I really like this season so far, although I'm having a hard time getting used to how this is only going to be 12 episodes and it's going to move alot faster than previous seasons of 24 did.

It was revealed that the Russian government were involved in the nuke plot on New York and were taking steps to cover it up. Renee was killed by a Russian operative sending Jack on a revenge trip for the age. He took out a lot of Russian diplomats and was lining up the Russian President next. He was about to be executed before Taylor intervened and cut him loose, telling him to leave the US.

Just watched Monday's episode, loved it!

So is this season just taking place over 12 hours? I thought I read that the time format would be different and some episodes would take place over a few hours. So far, they are sticking with the traditional format.

They haven't missed one yet and, from some reports out there, the next couple seem to be continuous too. As the last episode has to be 10-11am the following morning to complete the 24 hour day, my guess is they are just going to skip most of the night.

I love this season. This show didn't miss a beat, it's still completely illogical but completely awesome. It's exactly as it always was.
