So, this bizarro clownshow actually happened? Like, in the 80s? This isn't some secret "gotcha" Blair Witch fake non-fiction ? I was alive and didn't know about this before now? Maybe I vaguely remember as a small child seeing something about this on TV? WHY DOES THIS SHOW MAKE ME ASK SO MANY QUESTIONS ?!

As a kid in the 80s, I read Bloom County (in the newspaper and the big books that came out) A few strips dealt with the Rajneesh and I had no idea what Berke Breathed was referring to.

30 something years later, it makes sense. :D
