When she and Reeves were in the theater I thought to myself, "the final shot better be her foot about to hit the water; smash cut to black." So, it was a triumphant fist pump for me. |

I think so, yeah. I'm absolutely certain. But I like that they don't actually, fully, show it. |

I thought it would have been very much in the show’s nature to see her fall awkwardly into the water before they cut to black. |

OK maybe that last bit was my own interjection. |

OK maybe that last bit was my own interjection. I'm of two minds. On the one hand, this was about as close to a perfect season of American TV as one could hope to get from a project like this. So, leave well enough alone. One and done. We're all winners. On the other hand... there is so much fertile ground here. I have so many things I'd love to see explored. But I don't want another show runner. I want Damon and his thoughtfulness and his team and creativity. I think he can pull it off, too. Looking at what he did with The Leftovers, leaves me totally confident. I think I ultimately land on let it be. But IF there's a second Lindelof lead season, I won't be mad about it. |

Season 2 doesn’t have to be continue the same story. They didn’t even use nite owl and he would make a interesting season 2 |

I felt they kinda did that already on Europa though. |

Personally, I hope they don't do a season 2. Move on HBO. |
