Saw it yesterday and i was a bit worried about it because of the bad hype around it. I was expecting to be a mess, and the end be a total failure and embarrassment.
Wow, i just loved it. Amazing, daring, bold, emotional. Kudos to this for not being another copy paste of a comic book movie.
i was shocked with the three of them ending dead. really shocked. Wasnt even considering about the doctor motivations. And fuck, that ending struck me hard...the boy, the girl and the old woman, sitting together just waiting and watching. Superb.

I liked a lot of it but there was something about that climactic battle scene that felt so boring and static... people standing around explaining stuff at each other... the feeble-looking group of like four SWAT guys storming the scene... the awkward POV shots from Bruce Willis in that puddle... just didn't hold together very well

I thought the ending was great. I honestly didnt even know what was going to happen...when is the last time i got that from a superhero movie? Not to have a clue about what was going to happen. Ages.
I get that a lot of people are angry because its not the payoff they wanted....but damn, this is bold.

I just feel like Unbreakable was stronger as an individual, self-contained story. It ended well. I don't think it needed to be expanded on.
yeah, i agree with that. Its a very good movie for sure. Split seemed like another self contained story too, and Glass makes a very good job on bring them together.
