What are your favourite radio shows of all time? Shows you grew up with, shows on right now or shows you binge-listen to the archives of?

I LOOOOVEEE these two radio shows and binge the archives often.

USA's Loveline with Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew on KROQ.

and the UK's Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington on XFM.

Both Adam and Ricky went on to break the Guinness World Record for most downloaded podcasts - but their original radio work is SO MUCH better.

Ten year old me listened to way too much Loveline. WFNX carried it here at the time.

I don’t temember listening to radio shows much growing up. Just music.

Though we did have a local DJ for a while here who did this occasional segment where he would bust someone cheating by awarding them with a dozen roses and asks who they want them delivered to, and the guy gives the name of the mistress, while the wife listens in and then lets him have it on the air. That was pretty good.

However, I would think that his name and voice were pretty recognizable around here and I can’t believe these marks didn’t catch on. Or it was all staged.

so jealous. we really just had top 30 countdown shows in the evenings when i was a kid. they were still good, they had skits, song parodies and funny chat and everything but loveline's like possibly the greatest radio show ever.
