I liked Toy Story 1 & 2 and Monsters Inc when I was a kid. I’m an adult now, though.

I didn't see ANY Pixar movies until I had kids. I probably wouldn't have seen any if I hadn't had kids. That being said, I've enjoyed a lot of them.

I cried too damned much during Coco.

Crowd clapped at the end of Incredibles 2. The short that played in front of it was pretty fucked up.

Ours clapped too. Only time other than Star Wars - both the 1997 re-releases and The Force Awakens - that I've seen that.

To give you an idea, I was the only person who laughed when she ate the dumpling. Like, in the entire theater. Lots of gasps and confusion but I was the only person with a dark enough sense of humor to laugh.

Spoiler: show
I read an article the other day about how Pixar keeps doing the "one of the good guys is the bad guy" so as soon as the sister said that bit about the Panic Room I knew it was her.

With the latest Toy Story coming out I have something to admit: I don't have an emotional attachment to any of the Pixar movies.

That’s because you’re an adult

I teared up a little in parts of TS4, but it wasn't as good as the originals. It was good. It doesn't sink the franchise. It just wasn't TS3 good.

And yeah, I'm an adult, but I'm also a parent.

Adults are aren't allowed to appreciate cartoons?

I love the Toy Story movies. They're genuinely great movies. So are Wall-E and Up and many other Pixar movies.

Pixar, especially pre-Disney, is probably the most consistent movie studio ever.
