Because we all read the Books
If anyone wants to talk about the books or complain about the butchery of the tv show and what it has done to the the story line of Jon Snow.
First and foremost Jon surely isn't dead at the end of Dance with Dragons. He's coming back.
Second I really hated how season two treated Jon's story. they seemed to leave a lot out. I felt very connected to jon in the books i worry some watching may not have that strong an opinion

There's no way he is dead at the end of Dance with Dragons. He is part of the prophecy.

im kind of hoping he goes into ghost body and goes to winterfell and just tears every bolton/frey apart limb by limb
I forget but he hasn't really figured out he can do that right? Just the little Starks figured it out from what I remember.
I believe he goes into ghost when ghost gets attacked by the hawk and that's how he knows where to find ghost. It was either that or when they find the dragon glass.

Yeah i think you are right he has done it a couple times but he doesn't know he can do it or how to control it.
Items i'm going to miss from the show dearly- Vargo Hoat- "Kingthslayer, you are my captifth"
That would have been so cool to hear. Vargo was such a slimey person to root against
and Arya going nuts on the Tickler in the Inn when her and the hound are attacked by polliver and tickler in the book
Not deal changers but they were awesome book moments.

Looks like word on the street is no Edric Storm Melisandra comes to the river lands and is gonna steal gendry away and he is going to be the bastard with kings blood she uses.
I understand why they are doing it in the show why introduce a new character with so many, but we don't get that backstory about Ned/Jon that Edric shares with Arya.
It seems they are not going to touch on any of the events pre rebellion that lead to the rebellion. They've left everything out, but i have to think sooner or later this is goign to come to a head and they are going to have to talk about it. GRRM is going to reveal who jon's parents are and it may be a big deal as in a big enough deal to make him King so they are going to have to talk about it.

just finished book 5
where is Davos? i really loved his parts during the book, one of my favs for sure, i bet he went after Rickon
Stannis is really dead?
what happened to Lord Beric? we need more Cat also
The North Remembers
i need to see more frey/bolton blood
the Starks need to arise
My assumption is the same as yours Manderly (who is awesome!!) has sent him to find Osha and Rickon who are presumably on the Skagos Island hiding out with the cannibals. Davos is one of my favs and I loved his part in Dance w/Dragons too.
I dont think STannis is dead, but i'm not sure. I think beric is still in the riverlands with the brotherhood without banners
I think the next book was originally called A Time For Wolves so I’m hoping the Starks start to kick ass. One of my favorite moments in Dance with Dragons is when they are at the feast in Winterfell and Manderly feeds everyone the pies Including the Freys that are there and he is feeding them his kinsman 3 pies for the 3 lost Freys that manderly sent on their way. That was awesome and his proclamation earlier as you mentioned The North Remembers! I really do hope the starks can get some redemption

I read all the books and can't remember all these details. As far as a character dying during his POV chapter, Ned Stark died that way in book 1. I am pretty sure that Jon Snow was killed, actually. Dude was stabbed so many times, and that "for the realm" comment by his own man is just the kind of dramatic line to put his story to rest. Shame. He was my favorite character apart from Ned in book 1 and Tyrion throughout.

I've always thought it was the mountain that Qyburn put together as some kind of Frankenstein experiment. I'm not sure if anyone has said for sure yet but i think a lot of folks think that.

yeah i had just assumed it was the mountain's body, possibly without a head (since he never removes his helmet). all that was sent to Dorne was a skull.
