The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
If the night king et al breach the wall, will he and his forces melt in the relative heat? I can see him making it at least near to kings landing unless all sides band together against him. (Unlikely). He has a dragon. How will his forces keep up with him? GOT teleportation aside he would arrive on the dragon long before his forces no?
The White Walkers bring the cold with them (unless it is to re-freeze a lake ).
how Stannis will defeat the Boltons in TWOW. I guess D&D thought it was cool enough to bring to the show, but didn't think it through any further than that.
I hadn't heard that rumor. Pretty cool, if true. Do you think Jon will factor into that battle at all in the book, being dead and all?
I've very intrigued to see how Martin handles Jon's resurrection and to explore his mental state afterwards. Does he accept Stannis' offer for legitimacy after the mutiny? Will Melissandre abandon Stannis and follow Jon now? Will Jon stay at the wall?
Please note: I have not read any of the released chapters from WoW.

GRRM hasn't released anything from TWOW yet that has to do with Jon, so I pretty much have the same questions. I'm convinced he'll be markedly different. I think the entire point of Beric's resurrections are to show how death changes you, and pulls you further from your past life. Others have pointed out that between him and Stoneheart, you're not just different, but much more focused on some singular task that pertains to the death you experienced. So I see resurrected Jon as much more feral, with less ambitious ties to the Stark name, and super focused on uniting wildlings with the rest of the westerosi to defeat the Others.
