Yes. I watched another three episodes tonight, which means I only have one episode left. I am not happy about only having one episode left. Is it possible that this is the best thing Netflix has done to date?

(Mindhunter is the best thing Netflix has ever done, with the first season of Russian Doll in second place. This might be a solid third.)

Huge Mindhunter fan, i never saw Russian Doll and the best thing Netflix has done is Bojack Horseman.

If docs count, then The Making of a Murderer, season 1 wins.

these original series are all up there too:

Narcos (all 3 seasons)
Bloodline, season 1
Mindhunter, season 1
The Haunting of Hill House

I can't believe Fuller House is not on your list.

Apart from being one of the few truly disruptive companies in our lifetime, I’d say Netflix’s greatest contribution is to the standup comedy world. What did we even have before that? A handful of HBO specials and some crappy late night Comedy Central sets? Louis CK, Ali Wong, Dave Chapelle, Maria Bamford, and on and on — all either made their names on the platform, or leveraged the platform to catapult their existing notoriety into the stratosphere.

Also no way is Mindhunter even in the running for this thing, give me a break

I'd put GLOW up there as one of the best things Netflix has done too.

Glow was good yeah.

Of course both Hill House and Bly Manor are awesome, i keep forgetting they belong to Netflix. Bojack was fucking incredible. Agree with Trag about the standup special stuff. Lots of them, and very good ones.

Stand up doesn't register at all for me. I think I've watched 2 stand up specials on the platform? Either way, it's not what I think of personally when I think of Netflix. But I trust those that know.

Queen's Gambit floored me. I'm still stunned by how well done it was.

My highest rating is actually in bullet (1 or 2 mins to move, total). Chess gets scarier the slower you get!

MD, if you've never played with a clock, you really ought to. It adds another dimension. There are apps that will do this for you.

Learning chess is a two minute exercise. Getting your ass beat endlessly is the real time sink.

It's really cool. Sounds intimidating, but if anything it's more accessible as it essentially removes the "book". You can't study for it.

It's chaos. It's art.

would you recommend it to Knee Tunes?

I actually have watched three episodes and am thus far enthralled.
