More drama than laughs in the opener. Nice job on the fake ending before the last 60 seconds, which I first thought might taken place in Barry’s mind. I definitely want to see where it goes. Great job by Hader, who also directed. Cool tracking, nicely choreographed shot midway through.

I think he directs the majority of the episodes this season.
Hader is great, all around. I also love the NoHo Hank character. Dude is gold.
Agreed Noho Hank is my absolute fav--Hader is fantastic too. This was def a weirder episode, didn't really grab me after first watch but better after a second.

Hader guested on The Ringer's Prestige TV podcast with Sean Fennessey to recap the episode. I think the plan is for him to appear every week during S3?

Not the funniest or wildest episode, more of a setup of all the pins for where the characters are after the hiatus. I thought they did a good job of taking us forward without specifically pointing to the pandemic. A couple really funny parts. The opening scene, then the Miller’s Crossing nod at the end, were my favorite parts.
