I keep raving about how good Bill Hader is in this, how well it does each episode's final scene, and how it's more a drama with comedic overtones. That's all true again this week (Winkler also shines) but this one has the show's most intense sequence yet, and it's not even the final scene.

Yeah I love this show, it's really fantastic how it jumps between and blends comedy and drama.
Surely last night's fantastic episode was overshadowed by the GoT epic; however, I don't think I've laughed harder at this show than I did last night. Just what I needed after an exhausting Thrones episode. This show continues to slay.

I think this might legitimately be one of the best shows on TV in the last decade.

its really tiresome to see these ¨good guys¨ talking about any political stuff in tv while also being kinda funny and hip and cool....its just...please enough of this shit.
Yeah I watched it again last night as I was still a bit thrown off by GoT anxiety. Pretty sure it's favorite episode thus far. Not only was the direction fantastic but Hader and Root's chemistry is exceptional. I know he's written to be a piece of shit character but I hope they don't kill off Fuches any time soon. The show's (well written) unpredictability each week is a breath of fresh air.

I'm glad to see other people are starting to fawn over this show as much I have. For me it really took off in the final three episodes of last season but this current run has been fantastic. This last one in particular is a really good stand alone episode. You don't need a lot of background information to enjoy and it zips along even quicker and smoother than usual (Yes, Hader directed and co-wrote). Less dialogue than normal but great character moments through out and definitely a few twists I didn't see coming. Some of the best interactions yet between Barry and Fuchs. Barry realizes he has made a deal with the devil, how stereotypical devilish did Steven Root look in the desert hallucination? An unusually effective mix of Tarantino type over the top violence and legitimate laughs this week; halfway through the season this might be the episode remembered come Emmy nomination time. I do wonder how Barry gets back to everyday life that we see in next week's clips.

Last night was a bit of a letdown after such a great episode. It wasn't bad by any means and it advanced the plot but I would have liked to know how Barry & Fuches were able to leave the where they left off. Plus it was a tidy resolution of the Loach plotline. Barry's at a point where he potentially could was his hands and have a normal life but with two episodes left I doubt that will be the case. The highlight of course was the scene with Sally before the class. And I did like the last shot, another one of Fuches looking devilish.

Middle of the road episode (lots of Sally) until Fuches and Gene have their scenes together in the last ten minutes to set up what should be a great finale next week. Is it telling that the only preview clip was one "I'm coming for you Fuches" line from a pissed Barry?
I enjoyed it but agree too much Sally normally means a not so great episode; I'm just really hoping they don't kill off Gene. Winkler's character is hilarious and feel like they could continue to either build or transform his relationship w/ Barry, especially now with the cat out of the bag on Janice.

That would be a bigger shock than anything on GoT this season but not entirely out of the question either. I'm definitely excited to see what happens after Fuches' 911 call and expect a tense finale.
