I've been a fan of the K'un L'un kid since I was a kid. Can't wait for this series.

If Snipes isn't Blade it all falls apart.

I love these Netflix Marvel shows mostly because I'm unfamiliar with a lot of these characters. Of course I know Daredevil, Kingpin, Punisher, but Jessica Jones was completely new to me and Luke Cage was just sort of on my peripheral.

Who is Iron Fist? Was he in X-Force or X-Factor?

No, he's not a mutant. In the comics, he and Cage are best buds, his power comes from the mystic martial arts he practices, I think.
He's also rich. That's all I know.

Ah. Can't wait.

I actually didn't think that looked like anything special, though I've loved the 4 shows that preceded it so I'll be watching as soon as this drops no matter what

i think the biggest problem it is going to face more than the others is will he wear the iron fist costume. green jump suit with a yellow bandanna over the face

i cant imagine that working unless he falls off a building/out a window into a clothesline and that combo ends up on him

other than that im looking forward to it

I've been an Iron Fist fan since I was a kid. I've been waiting for this one more than all the others combined. Hopefully the issue of his parents that was shown was a misdirect. Other than that, the trailer looked fantastic. Loved how they portrayed the iron fist. Looked really good.

The issue of his parents?

In the trailer, it would appear they die in a plane crash. That is nothing like what happened to them in the comics.

It's not a deal breaker or anything like that for me, but their actual story is more interesting.

Ok...

His dad, Wendell Rand happened upon K'un Lun when he was a kid. He saved the life of the ruler who then raised him as his adopted son. When K'un Lun reappeared on Earth (it only appears every 10 years) Wendell left and became a successful businessman with his partner Ward Meachum. He got married, had a son and when K'un Lun next appeared he took his wife, child and business partner with him to find it. He slipped on a mountain path and Meachum cut his rope so he plunged to his death. When Wendell's wife wouldn't go with Meachum , she decided the safest haven would be her husbands adopted city so she and Daniel make a run for it. A pack of ravenous wolves picks up on their scents and catches up to them as they begin to cross the rope bridge into K'un Lun. Knowing both of them will never make it across, she tells Danny to run and she sacrifices herself to wolves. They devour her before her son's eyes, but he makes it across. Ten years later Daniel leaves K'un Lun to exact revenge on Ward Meachum.
