This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

caught this on Monday. It was actually quite funny, mostly just all the guys being overly jerky versions of themselves. Danny McBride is a standout in this one.

Have the day off tomorrow. Me and good friend are going to see this. Then going to see Man of Steel with the wife on Saturday. 2 movies in 2 days. Last time I seen a movie other than a cartoon movie (bring my 7yo daughter once a month) was in 2008!

Jonah Hill is a waste of space. He's not funny or interesting to me at all. I also hate everything about Seth Rogan outside of Donny Darko and Take This Waltz.

So, I'm not excited about this thing at all. But I do like some of the supporting cast and I have chuckled a few times at the trailer. Maybe when it's on Netflix?

Its worth a rental.

It starts out hilarious, then drags a lot, then picks up a little before a dud ending. Its not Pineapple Express.

The best thing I can say is that between this movie and Arrested Development coming back, I now love Michael Cera again.

this sums it up pretty well though i wouldn't say it drags a lot just a bit. it probably could have been a tad shorter. my wife and I saw it yesterday and laughed the whole way through. the story is just secondary to some great dialogue and dick jokes.

Spoiler: show
danny mcbride and james franco's cum argument

It does drag in parts but overall I liked it too. I'm not really a Danny McBride fan but his part was the funniest one in the film I thought.
