Did you watch those movies or did you experience them on the platform of your choosing and read the wiki recap?

It's seriously blowing my mind that B reads books
Mon February 05, 2018 6:25 pm
My youngest reads 365 books a year. Of course I read them to him but he does listen so it counts.

I would take your criticism if I was using abridged audiobooks.

Wait, does Bada think the valuable part of reading is actually absorbing information through your eyeballs?

My library says yes.
He gets credit for listening and I get credit for reading? So double credit? If that's the case then team Bada is gonna kill this challenge.
Double score last night!

I do plan on taking advantage of this when the new Pearl Jam album comes out. I'll just read the liner notes and that will count as listening to it.

I'm not trying to sway you. It doesn't really matter to me if you count audiobooks or not. This isn't a contest.
You can tone down the sass.
Mon February 05, 2018 7:32 pm
Did you get the sass by reading it or did someone read it to you and you could tell by their tone that I was being sassy?
Mon February 05, 2018 7:34 pm
Bada is wrong, audiobooks count
Also comic books shouldn't count
Mon February 05, 2018 7:37 pm
I really don't care. I'm just trying to be funny but B doesn't want to play so I'll stop.

This post is pretty cool when read by Morgan Freeman.

OK, except for the part where it's only
new books so re-reads don't count.

I saw an audiobook for Infinite Jest. I'm not even sure how that would work with the footnotes.

Son of Retro Pulp Tales by Joe R. Lansdale
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein
The World of Lore: Monstrous Creatures by Aaron Mahnke
A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel by Hope Larson
Cassandra French's Finishing School for Boys: A Novel by Eric Garcia

04/50 Movies
Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)
The Dark Tower (2017)
Kong: Skull Island (2017)
Justice League (2017)
I need something fun after that read, especially the dour note of it's ending and the real-life continuation. I'm reading Ready Player One with my son, keeping a laptop nearby for the quick references. I know I'm going to be watching Monty Python in the near future so that should more than up the fun quotient.
