OK, S2 E2 is making me laugh a lot. Some of these characters are so ridiculous and cartoony that it's starting to remind me more of eastbound and down.

Season 2 is brilliant. Its funny, its fucked up and it has a lot of heart. Amazing.

I'm really hoping that the drug-dealing kid who takes care of his grandad becomes a regular character. I was howling when he punched the woman in the face in E2, but then you really start to feel for him as the episode goes on.

Yeah, he kind of reminds me of Stevie from Eastbound & Down.

His performance is magnificent, but I could easily see why one might be really offended by him (more than any other character in either of the Danny McBride shows).

One thing I like a little more about VP over Eastbound is that there is a counter to McBride's dominant personality. Goggins is just as much alpha male so it's a different dynamic than KP and Stevie.

Binged season 2. Very good. Still crushing on Busy Phillips all these years after F&G.

Yeah, that's how it was always going to be.

This show was one of the funniest things ever though.
