OK, S2 E2 is making me laugh a lot. Some of these characters are so ridiculous and cartoony that it's starting to remind me more of eastbound and down.
Season 2 is brilliant. Its funny, its fucked up and it has a lot of heart. Amazing.

Yeah, he kind of reminds me of Stevie from Eastbound & Down.

His performance is magnificent, but I could easily see why one might be really offended by him (more than any other character in either of the Danny McBride shows).
One thing I like a little more about VP over Eastbound is that there is a counter to McBride's dominant personality. Goggins is just as much alpha male so it's a different dynamic than KP and Stevie.
