This does not look appealing at all. Del Toro should just do action; I know he fancies himself a Gothic Romanticist but that is not his forte.

I've been pretty much off del Toro since Pan's Labyrinth, which I hated. This though... ?

Yeah, I don't know guys. Maybe I'm just a giant sucker for umbrellas and quirky characters but I think this looks really charming and wonderful.

Reminds me a bit of Pan's Labyrinth. I'm not a huge fan of his movies, but they are well made.

I think I'm with you on this one. I loved The Devil's Backbone when I first saw it. But I've only seen it once. And the first Hellboy was fun. But other than that, I'm not a huge fan. But I can totally see that the guy has talent and ability.

Same. I think he's an incredibly talented film maker but maybe too stubborn about what he wants to make and having it all his own way. Still often wonder what his Hobbit would have looked like? It's not his story but he was bringing his whole aesthetic to bear on it. Would have been amazing.

Hope he does a Star Wars movie. All weird creatures and underworld kinda thing.

I liked. Pacific Rim, though I can understand why people didn't.

Hellboy 2 as enjoyable though I was never happy with his take.

Pan's labyrinth is his best.

Hellboy 1 was bleh.

I haven't seen the others.

Pacific Rim is one of the greatest pieces of art ever made

I may be in the minority here, but my favourite film of his is Don't be Afraid of the Dark
