The Endless started out okay but the ending was a mess. Not a good movie.

its really tiresome to see these ¨good guys¨ talking about any political stuff in tv while also being kinda funny and hip and cool....its just...please enough of this shit.
epiphany on Justin's behalf made the ending feel forced and all the other loops and concepts left on floor (e.g. do the totem poles have the same effect as the loop borders?)
are frustrating, but I forgave those shortcomings because the narrative choices were smart enough to leave the right plot questions unresolved
Were they in a larger loop? Was their mothers death part of the camp's loop? An attempt at the creation of another loop? Was their escape from 'the camp' defeating the entity after many attempts trying to get them to leave?
Is God a vengeful entity that is just fucking with for us own amusement or do we do this to ourselves?

about to watch The Fountain...it's been a long time and i remember finding it intriguing, but can't remember how much i actually enjoyed it
I've given it several tries and it never quite satisfied me.
It's simultaneously beautiful and disappointing. Wasnt there some rumor of a much longer cut not long after it came out?
sounds familiar...it is weirdly short
i don’t think my opinion has changed much from the last viewing...visually stunning, intriguing concept, not a miss but could be better...Weisz is great- where has she been?
didn’t realize how much Jackman’s performance in Prisoners was like this...mostly well meaning, but overbearing af...would have preferred someone else

Look at your young men fighting Look at your women crying Look at your young men dying The way they've always done before

We practice selective annihilation against mayors and government officials to create a vacuum. Then we fill that vacuum. As popular war advances, peace is closer.
