Goobers were great. Haven't had those in decades... miss 'em.

They still make them.

That's good! I haven't seen them in forever. But I like knowing they're still out there. Someday we'll find each other again... :heartbeat:

Do you never to a movie theater?

I pretty much only go to Alamo Drafthouse anymore. If I go elsewhere, it's an art house like BAM or The Angelika.

If you’d stop going to fru fru places for movies and go to regular theaters like a normal person, you’d enjoy Goobers every time.

Yeah, but I'd also have to deal with people talking, texting, screaming, smoking, fighting and going viral on TikTok. So... worth the trade off.

Smoking? I’ve not been to a theater that’s allowed that in decades. I remember it tho. Our local theater growing up had the smoking section in the balcony. My uncle smoked and every time he’d take me to we Star Wars that’s where we’d sit. Nothing like watching a movie thru a haze of smoke.

Oh none of the movie theaters here in NYC "allow" it either. Doesn't stop it from happening.

I can count on one hand the number of good experiences I've had at non-art house in New York. I can't do it anymore. Not when movies are $18 +.
