I thought we should have a thread about Jack´s other releases, his solo work and even his work with bands like Eleven or the Peppers...

Right now, im enjoying Attention Dimension, my favorite record from him as a solo artist...and fuck its good.

They were kinda big in LA in the 80s. Jack left the Peppers for them.

I guess I never knew that Alain and Jack went so far back. Also, the idea of Alain Johannes fronting what is pretty much RHCP is very weird.

yeah, but its also an indicative of how important Alain is. He is one of the most underrated musicians of his era, and pretty much every peer loves him.

"Up and coming singer-songwriter Jon Greene describes the music of his band, Arthur Channel, as “atmospheric alternative rock and roll with a dash of haunting folk melodies.” The other members are seasoned musicians – Jack Irons (ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam), Greg? Richling (Fiona Apple, Wallflowers), Alain Johannes (ex-Queens of the Stone Age, Eleven). The End Records will release Arthur Channel’s self-titled debut album on October 15."

Attention D. is awesome. No Heads are better than None had some good songs too. Listening to a lot of Blue Manatee lately, waiting for a new solo disc.

Its a very nice album, very moody and the Pink Floyd´s cover is great.

Jack on drums. I've enjoyed this song more than the new PJ. Same vibes as Black Gives Way to Blue. Looking forward to more from these guys. Stupid video but who gives a shit about videos.
