Really nice song. I find her voice to be fairly unremarkable — it’s pleasant but I couldn’t pick it out of a lineup. But her phrasing and sense of dynamics is really nice; she controls softer phrases really well. I’d be keen to hear a whole album of her stuff with a bit more growth to her vocal chords.

I agree with this. Sometimes less character is good, though. IMO Ed so often makes the mistake of trying too hard and I'm glad she doesn't do that. It is a subtle, soulful, sentimental track, and she does a really good job.
I will keep this song in mind for making dads with daughters and daughters with dads cry in the future (looking at you, Raz). Very pretty, sweet song. Still confused why it has Ed listed in the title though.
