I haven't heard all that many. The only memorably good ones so far:

1. Jazz Cartier - Marauding in Paradise
2. Failure - The Heart is a Monster
3. Demi Lovato - Confident
4. Nicole Dollanganger - Natural Born Losers
5. Miley Cyrus - Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz
6. High on Fire - Luminiferous
7. Jedi Mind Tricks - The Thief and the Fallen

Stuff I enjoyed

1. Foals - What Went Down
2. Gareth Coker - Ori and the Blind Forest
3. Torche - Restarter
4. Chvrches - Every Open Eye
5. Dan Deacon - Gliss Riffer
6. Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I sit and Think...
7. The Darkness - Last of Our Kind
8. Carpenter Brut - Trilogy
9. El Ten Eleven - Fast Forward
10. Caspian - Dust and Disquiet

TBD: Haven't heard new EoDM yet. And Grimes has a new one coming out.

Ben Folds - So There
Built to Spill - Untethered Moon
Hemming - Hemming
Hop Along - Painted Shut
Leon Bridges - Coming Home
Meg Myers - Sorry
Modest Mouse - Strangers to Ourselves
Natalie Prass - Natalie Prass
Of Monsters And Men - Beneath the Skin

These are the only ones I've really given a good listen. I have a lot that I still need to listen to.

The only things that come to mind so far:

Sleater-Kinney - No Cities To Love
Low - Ones and Sixes
Titus Andronicus - The Most Lamentable Tragedy
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
Built to Spill - Untethered Moon

I really enjoyed the new Dre album but I'm not sure how I'd rate it. I've heard great things about Courtney Barnett, the new Sufjan and the new Wilco but I haven't listened to either yet.

I just don't understand the love for Chvrches. At all.

Courtney Barnett
Tame Impala
Foals
Sleater-Kinney
Sufjan Stevens
Alabama Shakes
Father John Misty
Kurt Vile

...is my short list of albums that have really stuck with me this year. I think I've had a better success rate this year than most other recent years.

I feel like I should be considering Florence and the Machine, Built To Spill, Dick Diver, Speedy Ortiz and El Vy.
