Gaucho is the only 80s Dan album unless you count solo

I don't know how old you are, but "Southern Cross" takes me right back to my childhood in the early 80's, like a lot of that shit does. I find it hard to be critical, because I don't know how much of it should be chalked up to simple nostalgia.

45. I remember it very well from my childhood. My dad was/ is a huge CSN fan ( he never really cared for Y) and it was played a LOT around the house.

I like the lyrics to SC a lot

Gaucho has some good tunes but wouldn't rank high if I ranked the SD albums

The diversity of sounds, styles, and sonic textures across the popular music spectrum easily makes this my favorite era of music.

the more i hear this song the greater i think it is. kid is only 16 out here looking like a matt dillion, sounding like bowie, and playing guitar like a young SRV

i remember when this song came out and not only loving the song but being jealous as fuck at this kid who was my age and seemed to have his life so together

I made an entire playlist for my wife, who loves the spirit of this music, for long drives. I called it Songs From the Back Seat, a reference to this station being on in the car when I was a child. It is largely 70s pop, 80s, and bleeds a little into the 90s.

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6ttGr ... d7BT0NS7Wy

6.5 hours of this exact music.

Ah, I love this song

I remember sitting in a bar with friends laughing our heads off at all the gyrations in this video

Edit: nevermind. I thought this was the suspicious minds video
