I listen to some obscure bands, and some semi-famous ones. I agree that if a band is really famous it gets a lot more difficult to get tickets, and their future releases often ends up suffering. So I don't worry too much about it.
Always wanted Pearl Jam to be bigger. I want when I end up at some random party, that they are playing Pearl Jam, instead of the latest techno/dance/hip-hop thing.

OF COURSE
My apologies.
Yes, vermin, I also enjoy the musical stylings of Kitty and wish that a wider audience appreciated her work.

Im not sure. I enjoy the supposedly obscurity of some bands of artists like Lanegan, for example. Yes, he should be bigger but i dont want to see Mark only playing big festivals.

I saw them a couple times when I moved to Portland in '02. I have no idea what happened after that. Do/Did they have an interesting career?

My university band, because then I would've been making bank as a rock star instead of sitting behind a desk at a shitty job slowly dying inside.

The Kinks. First off, I realize they are huge / influential and in the RnR HOF, but... I feel most only know their hits and really have no idea about the deep cuts or really great albums like 'Arthur', 'Muswell Hillbillies', 'Face To Face', etc...
