"Peppers" might be the only skip on the album.

Really? I love Peppers so much
I like that she leaned into a different style than the rest of the record. Gives it a rebirth moment for her 'I'm already coolest' past glamorous style, where the other tracks are very introspective with a undercurrent of sad-girl regret running through them. I just find the sampled hook annoying to the point where I actively don't want to hear it.

This album felt like a slog. I felt the same with NFR. I like the brevity of Chemtrails.
I'll def have a cutdown version of this album.
While I am in the opposite camp, I totally get this perspective and agree there are gonna be times where I would not want to listen to Ocean Blvd as it would be too... inaccessible? It can be so me-me-me-I-me that it won't connect in many situations.

Just heard a podcast that says the version of VB that's on the new record (the final track, Taco Truck v VB) is the original version of the song that she wanted on FNR.
I'm glad that didn't happen. But I'm also glad that we have it now.

really? i know Lana´s music is on one spectrum to the say the least, but this one felt different. A&W, Peppers, Fishtail they got something else going.
Even a song like Ocean Blvd with that amazing crescendo at the end sounds different than other stuff.
