The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I'm at the "over it part" of the grieving process.
Same. I lost a good mate the day after and it made me realize I didn't know Chris. I'm sad for his family and all but I'm sadder for my mate's wife and kid.

i wonder if the next shoe to drop will be news about financial difficulties
maybe he should not have invested all of that 'Black Hole Sun' money into the family's spray-tan franchise

I feel like we may find out nobody from the band will be at the private funeral.
McCready is doing something (book signing?) at Sasquatch on Saturday in Easy Street Record's tent.
Regarding that article from January, I found it interesting how active Cornell has been playing live shows especially since Soundgarden reunited. Maybe I've just been conditioned to the Pearl Jam/EV touring schedules but Cornell was on the road a lot for a guy in his early 50's with a relatively young family. A need for money and his wife pushing him may explain some of that.

Seemed like a pretty normal touring schedule for a band that isn't massive like PJ.

I lost an uncle two weeks ago, and my grandma a month before that. So, yeah. The Cornell thing was a shock, but...
