The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I guess you read nothing about what has come out the last month then cause it was the exact opposite - Grohl wanting to relentlessly tour and and Taylor wanting out. Nothing about Taylor dying is going to make Grohl not want to be a rock star. Seems like it's all he wants to do.
everything you are talking about was dave grohl before taylor's death. i have no idea how this is actually going to effect dave grohl, but as a human i would understand him wanting his space after losing his best friend. maybe i'm wrong and being mega-famous is going to be part of his grieving process, but i think at his age and point in his career he wouldn't want to tour. has he spoken publicly at all? i saw pics of him with other musicans at jazzfest, but that's it.
Happy to wage you literally any amount of money Dave Grohl is playing arenas again in heavy, heavy, fashion within 3 years from now - more likely within 12 months.
Shit, they already doing 2 shows next month as a "tribute".
And I don't fault him for it. It's his whole life. He should stop because his best friend died?

And I’m not being snarky. If he was releasing stuff that felt like a passionate reflection of his experience, I’d be all for the Foos continuing. But it’s gonna be a bad look when they roll out whatever bland single they’ll release as a eulogy to Taylor.

Was that Grohl solo album any good? Never listened.
Good for what it is. Very dramatic, slickly produced metal with some monster performances. In the same vein as Probot but slicker. Nothing id listen to regularly but it would eat the Foo Fighters for breakfast.

Matt not on either guest list yet. The show on the 3rd makes sense as PJ has a show that night. But there’s nothing going on PJ-wise that would keep him from the 27th.
