Guys, this Tribe album is really good. It's like they skipped The Love Movement and picked up right after BR&L. There's a song called Kids that is pretty awesome.

Yea, I vaped and listened to the first half last night. Fucking stellar, this thing. The production is aces, super creative -- the beats all have a vibe that is both a throwback to the 90s, and a look forward to something more modern. And the lyrics are fantastic. The hook to We the People is a gut punch:
All you Black folks, you must go All you Mexicans, you must go And all you poor folks, you must go Muslims and gays, boy, we hate your ways So all you bad folks, you must go
Exactly, there is this really familiar ATQC vibe and at the same time, its something new. I love how they use their guests.

I don't think there's a bad song in the bunch. A there are a few in the back half of the record that haven't totally clicked for me yet, but it seems like I connect with another song with each spin.

Consistently surprised at the energy Busta Rhymes brings to this record, too. I had written him off a long time ago -- his music has sucked for a while, and I have a friend who's worked with him extensively and paints sort of a sad picture. But he sounds great on this -- fun, fast, weird.
