I've never "gotten" that Clipse album.

It wasn't great to me. I thought Pusha's solo album from a few years ago had some excellent stuff on it though.

And can we please not get into the rap/hip-hop thing again. They are the same. The first rap song ever is called "Rapper's Delite" and starts with the lines "hip-hop, hip-hop"...like, seriously. I've never heard an even halfway coherent argument or classification as to how they're different.

Yea that solo album is great, his newest one isn't bad either.

Somebody played like 2 hours straight of mumble rap on the jukebox last night.. I have no idea how that became a thing.. actually, now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense mumble rap is a thing in 2016

Taking a quick spin through the new Tribe album on Spotify, it sounds pretty good to me.

Guys, this Tribe album is really good. It's like they skipped The Love Movement and picked up right after BR&L. There's a song called Kids that is pretty awesome.

Yea, I vaped and listened to the first half last night. Fucking stellar, this thing. The production is aces, super creative -- the beats all have a vibe that is both a throwback to the 90s, and a look forward to something more modern. And the lyrics are fantastic. The hook to We the People is a gut punch:

All you Black folks, you must go
All you Mexicans, you must go
And all you poor folks, you must go
Muslims and gays, boy, we hate your ways
So all you bad folks, you must go

I'm there too. Thinking of getting inebriated and having a late night by myself. It feels like I'm in mourning, but no one has died. Bizarre.

Welcome to America 2016, my friend.

I was kind of hungover this morning. I didnt get wasted last night but i had a few drinks and slept like shit. I managed to sneak in a hike with the gal and some work and cleaning of my apartment. But here i am again tonight drinking a lot of wine and listening to my new records.

Point is: yes I will also have a couple drinks for viking football at 11 am.

Its the weekend and my girlfriend is busy with trainings

Having a tough time processing this with Mrs. Trag. I'm reading everything I can get my hands on, listening to podcasts, etc -- I'm sure it's annoying for her, as she seems to want to tune out, focus on the things that make her happy. We're both really upset, but haven't figured out how to talk through it yet (having her mom here all week complicated things). Glad you and the gal had a hike this morning, we will try something similar tomorrow I hope.

Life is absolutely confusing right now. Though burying our heads in all the drama and reading nonstop about it all - Just makes it worse. I truly believe things are not as bad as the news and social media make it seem. COnnect with 1 human being, connect with nature, make love to your wife, listen to Ice Cube - You will feel better.
