Ah ok, according to Google, a time signature is an indication of rhythm following a clef, generally expressed as a fraction with the denominator defining the beat as a division of a whole note and the numerator giving the number of beats in each bar. Got it now!
Funny, I'm just as confused as ever. I'm told it's all about how you count. But fuck that, I don't listen to music to do math.
i was being sarcastic
I wasn't! I hate math. Who wants to count while listening to music? That's like reading Henry James while fucking. No thank you!
I count while listening to music all the time but I'm fucking crazy.

7/8 is alternating bars of 4/4 and 3/4. It's very easy to count. You just cut off a beat on the second bar and return back to the one. 1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and-1-and-2-and-3-and.....
11/8 is alternating bars of 5/8 and 3/4. So it would be 1-2-3-4-5-1-and-2-and-3-and....
13/8 is alternating bars of 5/8 and 4/4. So it would be 1-2-3-4-5-1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and...
