I've enjoyed all of these EP's quite a bit. The fact that Trent's awful lyrics are increasingly buried under layers of noise and effects is a real boon to this music. |

I can't believe how much this third EP killed my hype here. I wasn't a fan of the first one but the second was so good it made me like it retroactively. Then this one comes along and I'm just...meh. Hell, I'm less than meh. And it's not like it's a bad set of songs, it's just not at all where I thought the trilogy was going. It's like an audio representation of a left turn at Albuquerque. |
