Great song. Top 30, maybe top 20. Top 10 is pure Tragness.

Ok I just tried to come up with a list of top 10 and I got to six before I was done with Broken and TDS. You might be right, top 20.

everyone's always going on about how sexy "Closer" is but "Sunspots" is the ultimate stripping song

For anyone interested: I’ve been holding out for TDS Definitive Edition 2LP for a year as the previous run had gone out of print. I’m getting notifications left and right that it’s back in stock for around $27-35. If you want it, buy it now because it’s apt to go quick.

$99 here in Australia. Which I'll swallow, because it is a must have piece.

TDS never really grabbed me - maybe I need to go back and give it another listen

Haha yeah, kinda. It'll be the first time I have it on vinyl, having bought it a few times on CD.

It's pretty abrasive. Little bit of God hating in there -- not sure if that's a dealbreaker for you. But it's one of the greatest albums of all time.

Yeah - that might be enough to push this album into the 'Pass' pile - depends how it's done. I'll give it another listen at some point and report back

:nice:

I approach vinyl more as a collector than a listener, and some records are must haves.

It’s really just Heresy, and while it’s really abrasive, my read is it’s more about the commodification of Christianity, and the disenfranchisement people were beginning to have with organized religion when the song was written.

Much more intellectual/critical than something you might get from Marilyn Manson.
