if humid music is anything like humid weather, it means it will make you miserable and to completely avoid it

Ziúr
U Feel Anything?

In her abraded experimental club music, Berlin producer Ziúr favors a skeletal sound that still confidently occupies a maximal amount of space. It suggests that agitation can produce beauty.

I get the "humid music" thing, I think. Thick atmosphere full of uncomfortable, sticky heat. So...hot and heavy arrangements? The mention of "sleek" in the same sentence totally contradicts that, of course.

Whatever you do, don't google "abraded skin".

I just let Mad Magazine know that Pitchfork is using a likeness of Alfred E Neumann (presumably without their permission).

For someone who makes me laugh a fair amount, you have a low bar for "really funny."

Look, I'm fine to let you have your hatreds. They are yours and you're entitled to them. But... again... can you explain to me why this video so offensive to you? Break it down.

Why? Why was it painful? What was so objectionable about it? To me it felt like a warmer, better thought-out version of what I read on RM everyday.

For someone who engaged in sexual relations with an adorably cute former RMer; maintains a cute cat at his residence; and seems to be surrounded by attractive Latino women at all hours of the day, you have a low bar for "cute."

Exactly the kind of well considered and expertly argued response I expected.

This review of the new Wu-Tang is pretty silly. The author has a problem with Wu's non-PC raps, but WTF? When have Wu-Tang ever tried to do anything other than deliver dispatches from their own unique world? Should they have not rapped about guns and drugs back in the day?
