I'm with Townsend. I've never cared for Moon's drumming.

Interesting picks, LMS. Forgot you were a drummer.

It's too bad Adler went off the deep end.

Then there's everybody else.

Awesome selection. There's a version of "Say Goodbye" that came to mind when I read that, just some awesome fills in it.

And Nick Mason. He is perfect for that style of music. So was Ringo. Ringo was/is so underrated.

I know I'm not supposed to mention Bonzo but since I made the thread I get one exemption.

This is my favorite drum track ever:

Dude was a monster.

I'm amazed how few people here mentioned Jimmy Chamberlin. :shake:

Whether you like Smashing Pumpkins or not the dude is an absolute monster.

Chamberlain is great, I was trying not to include anyone who'd already been mentioned in my list.

Love Chamberlain - was just marveling at his work on Porcelina of the Vast Oceans the other day.

Prefer him to Grohl, who has a relatively similar style.

Yeah I guess I just mean in how hard they both hit. But obviously Jimmy is much more technical.

On the drums, from Dallas Texas, is hard working Ronnie Tutt!
This is how drum solos should be, short, sweet, and in your face.

and... Janet Fucking Weiss
