Phil Collins's Face Value has way too much meandering padding, and the sequencing feels all out of whack. If it were the following tracklist, it would probably be one of my favorite albums.

The only one I could do without is the Beatles cover, I've heard that song too many times in my life. But the rest of the thing is tops.

I love the R U Talkin' R.E.M. RE: Me? podcast, but most of the time they play song snippets, I find myself flummoxed as to how anyone could think they were a great band. But after the recent Accelerate episode, I came away for the first time thinking, "I could listen to this." So I did. And I really like most of it. But, boy, a couple of the songs are real clunkers that really drag the whole thing down.

So I reimagined it as a tight, punchy, 25-minute experience, and I think it works a lot better now.

I love "Accelerate." It's been too long since I've listened to it.

"Supernatural Superserious" is such a great pop rock song. If it had been released in, like, 1994, it would have been a massive hit.

It's definitely better than Reveal. But does best any of their others?
