Phil Collins's Face Value has way too much meandering padding, and the sequencing feels all out of whack. If it were the following tracklist, it would probably be one of my favorite albums.
1. In the Air Tonight 2. Tomorrow Never Knows 3. This Must Be Love 4. Thunder and Lightning 5. The Roof is Leaking 6. You Know What I Mean 7. I'm Not Moving 8. If Leaving Me is Easy 9. I Missed Again
This trag guy is all right. I'm glad we could all agree on We're In This Together and The Big Come Down. I really wanted to include Even Deeper and Somewhat Damaged too.

There's a lot of stuff I really like on U2's Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, but there's also a lot of stuff I don't like. So I combined them into one album: Songs of Innocence and Experience.
1. 13 (There is a Light) [Edited to fade out after "someone like me" at about 2:40.] 2. Raised by Wolves 3. Volcano 4. The Showman (Little More Better) 5. California (There is No End to Love) 6. Red Flag Day 7. Sleep Like a Baby Tonight 8. Cedarwood Road 9. Every Breaking Wave 10. The Troubles 11. The Crystal Ballroom 12. Landlady 13. This is Where You Can Reach Me Now 14. Song for Someone

I love the R U Talkin' R.E.M. RE: Me? podcast, but most of the time they play song snippets, I find myself flummoxed as to how anyone could think they were a great band. But after the recent Accelerate episode, I came away for the first time thinking, "I could listen to this." So I did. And I really like most of it. But, boy, a couple of the songs are real clunkers that really drag the whole thing down.
So I reimagined it as a tight, punchy, 25-minute experience, and I think it works a lot better now.
1. I'm Gonna DJ 2. Living Well is the Best Revenge 3. Supernatural Superserious 4. Man-Sized Wreath 5. Sing for the Submarine 6. Accelerate 7. Horse to Water 8. Houston
