Gov’t Mule at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on 4/28
Love the Mule. Warren Haynes is a fucking god.
I have always wanted to see them and I am finally going. I have been binging on them for the past two weeks as the anticipation already builds.
I am definitely trolling the Capitol Theatre listings since it is 20 mins from my house and they get great bands in a 1800 capacity theater with great sound.
I’ve seen the Mule 3 times. The absolute best was on my birthday a few years back. Couldn’t find anyone to go with me so I flew solo. Killer set list and guests and ended up with a fifth row ticket. What a great show. You’ll love them.
Listening to Dark Side of the Mule tonight and figuring I might lose if they pull this out again. 45 since Dark Side so I can wish...

That Foo Fighters show really brings that list down
Oh bullshit! That will be the most fun show by a wide margin. They struggle with great albums, but their live show is great.
I don't *love* Foo Fighters, but they have like a million good songs and put on a great show. I have only seen them once and wouldn't go out of my way to see them again, but you can't knock a Foo show. C'mon Ruddock.

I have seen them 4 times at various points in their career (‘98, ‘00 opening for RHCP, ‘11, ‘12 at Global Citizen). They are a lot of fun, though more recently I think they may be hamming it up a little too much. Those earlier shows I remember for some great driving rock, and the latter ones I remember for 10 minute versions of every song where Dave Grohl finds his way in the crowd somehow during nearly every song.

I’ve seen them 3 times. First was in ‘00 opening for the Chili Peppers. Best one of the bunch. The only time I saw I’ll Stick Around and the real version of Everlong.
