The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Had tickets for the Peridia tour in a beautiful, small venue for February 2020. I think it was sickness that postponed that date and then Covid shutdown killed it.

Bryan Adams - NYE 2021 - That should actually be good. He's a Vancouver kid playing his hometown. Has good (if your Canadian) hometown bands opening; 54-40 and Mother Mother. Some generic Can-pop to end the year. Brian Fallon - Feb 2022 Marcus King Band - May 2022
Canada has been way behind the US in getting concerts going again. My first concert since Marcus King in Feb 2020 is Rival Sons next month and Cowboy Junkies later that same month.

After my triumphant return to live music was thwarted earlier this year by inclement weather, I'm happy to announce that I FINALLY made it to a live concert this past Saturday!
Saw Martin Sexton (KT Tunstall opened and was surprisingly great) in Terrytown, NY at the Terrytown Music Hall. Smaller venue, about 800 people. Amazing sound/acoustics.
The show was awesome. Marty was phenomenal, as always. There really is nothing quite like live music.

Oooh. I haven’t been to that venue yet but heard great things! I feel like if I do I might be cheating on the Cap.

You should check it out. It's a great little venue. And the people watching! Holy shit, I've never seen so many just HAMMERED 50+ year olds in my life. It was something.

How does their live sound compared to their studio sound? Is it a totally different experience once there's reverb and bass traps and standing waves and all the other things that their filtered out of their studio recordings? Is the energy very different?

The sound was great. It had the energy and feel of a jazz concert. Not at all like a rock band trying to re-create their record but not loose either. One of the backing vocalists sang lead on "Dirty Work" which was a total buzzkill. But other than that I found it highly enjoyable in a classy way.
