The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Enjoy (and report back - truly interested to hear how they are live on this tour).
will do. I take you've seen them before.
how was this?
i saw them back before the pandemic (i think it was the fall of 2019). i liked it, but i remember it being a little uneven if memory serves me.
We enjoyed the show very much. The only bummer came during their performance of 'Not.'
Someone in the crowd needed medical attention. A group of people was waving down the band to stop to get security to assist. It happened just as the band was about to take off near the bridge. After things were cleared, the band recovered by slowly building back up to where they were, but it wasn't the same.
They are incredible musicians.
My wife loves 'Shark Smile,' and she was a little bummed they didn't play. Overall, a great show. Would see them again.
I may or may not have teared up during 'Change.'
Edit: to your uneven comment...yeah it seemed a little slow and easy to start. The middle of the show is where the bangers came out, then back to slow again.

I saw Big Thief first last April and then again earlier this month. They were excellent, and the 2 shows were different enough to make it worthwhile. 'Change' opened the first one and was the last encore at the second one.
Alright that was so fun. It was hot as hell, but I wanderer around the park and rested a few times.
Suki Waterhouse was great. I hope she comes back and plays in some small venue. She should have played later in the day for sure.
Aurora was boring. I bailed after a few songs and came back for the end. Trueno was alright in just not a big fan of his music, but the guy has a lot of energy.
Rosalia was fucking great. What a performer. Her voice is something else.
Drake was weird man. He only sang for like 45 minutes, never finished a song, sometimes started something and cut it after 10 seconds…really strange vibe.
Phil Lesh and Friends - incredible! Rick Mitarotonda was great though too low in the mix. The violin player, Katie Jacoby, was like nothing I’ve ever seen. It was like watching the Hendrix of the violin. And Phil was great - his singing voice was not so hot, but it never has been. His playing was really quite amazing. The way he held everything together while still playing wildly during Truckin’ was unreal. Really he didn’t sing too much, it was mostly Mitarotonda and Grahame Lesh. And the setlist was phenomenal - I mostly expected obscure deep cuts but it was really a straightforward Dead set. James Casey played sax and sang on their cover of Dear Prudence that absolutely brought the house down. Loudest I ever heard the crowd at the Cap.
Set One: Casey Jones, Althea, Friend of the Devil, Here Comes Sunshine, Easy Wind, US Blues, Truckin’
Set Two: Passenger, New Speedway Boogie, Dear Prudence, Cold Rain & Snow, He’s Gone, The Music Never Stopped, Viola Lee Blues, Goin’ Down the Road Feeling Bad
