The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
This has been an expensive week for tickets; David Bowie Celebration, Rival Sons, Sticky Fingers, Kansas, Bryan Ferry and The Who. I better get a job soon.

Starting to wonder if I will ever go to another concert. I'd like to see Billy Joel in August but the ticket price plus fees and the thought of the hassle of going and leaving just make me want to slump into my couch and never do anything again

they are all too expensive, and they are all always on work nights

I really have a hard time justifying the fees. They're sometimes almost 50% of the ticket price! It's like paying for shipping when you're shopping online. I just can't do it.

i have nothing on the calendar. most concerts i go to these days are local bands with a $10 cover. i kind of prefer it that way now anyway. i'm like LV, i find it depressing and hard to stomach the cost of most ticket prices now.

So there was a piano player named Jody Nardone that did a set before Ford and did Donald Fagen’s Maxine from The Nightfly and afterward he went on to describe how that was his favorite song and it’s from the best album ever made. After that he did Black Hope Sun (which was fantastic) and Paul McCartney’s My Love. Really enjoyed him.
Ford was ok but was eclipsed by Carlock and Jeff Coffin on saxophone.
