just bagged tickets for Sleep Token in November, it'll be my third time seeing them; the only other bands I've seen that many times are Pearl Jam and Counting Crows

i can't put my finger on it, but i think it had to do with the way that the show was structured (almost like she was acting out a play with a LOT of stops and starts), her being in the choreography (i assume the show wasn't changed after she almost died, and they kept her in the dance numbers where she shouldn't be), and the old people in the crowd dressed up that should've dressed up like younger versions of themselves). The whole thing just felt "off."
The good part is that Madonna sounded really good.
When I looked at Radio City I thought the tickets were extremely expensive for them, so I passed. Funflation is going to be my retirement from seeing my live music at some point.

I couldn't imagine seeing live music now but looking back at the travel and tickets cost/anxiety of shows previously I do not miss it at all. That said, I'm glad I traveled, saw some amazing places and enjoyed the gigs.

I say this knowing that this year alone I am looking at tickets for the Stones, possibly Pearl Jam if they ever announce, in the lottery for Goose at Forest Hills, and I would love to see Tedeschi Trucks Band and finally cave and see Phish.
