This can't be true but I can't recall ever having heard anything by Audioslave.
I never liked RATM, though.
i wouldn't expect to be blown away but if you're a fan of Cornell the Audioslave albums are worth checking out -- the first one in particular has some really strong songs on it, and Cornell is in -- in my opinion -- exceptional voice.
I'm not a big RATM fan either, though I liked them in their day.

I really liked the extended version of Moth that was on some EP that is so rare you can't even find it on torrent sites. I don't even remember where I found it but was the song only, not the rest of the EP.

I looked in my Audioslave folder and I have this but its at 128 you'd be better off ripping it from Youtube. It's missing the first song too.
Audioslave were pretty great catchy radio rock. They weren't particularly deep but sometimes you just wanna hear Chris Cornell wail against some Tom Morello riffs.

So, the Soundgarden documentary morphed into a Chris Cornell documentary. They already had much SG footage, they probably already filmed some of his 'higher truth' solo shows. Camera's were seen at some of the recent TOTD shows.... This one-off reunion of Audioslave will be the perfect opportunity to film aswell. Perhaps this documentary is the sole reason for this reunion in the first place......
They played Cochise, Like A Stone and Show Me How To Live....and sounded pretty good. Cornell must be a cool dude, he gets along with pretty much every guy he played with.

I thought he was the reason Soundgarden disbanded.

Not at all. It had to do mostly with them being really tired about everything else besides the music and of course cornell was fucked up yeah, at the time. Ben too.
Its impressive to see the legacy the guy has built over the years.
