Not sure I have one.

Wussy - Funeral Dress
Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die
Pearl Jam - Vitalogy
skip skip ben ben - Sacrifice Mountain Hills

all seem just about perfect for what I imagine the intent was, but don't quite do it.

The Beatles - Sgt Pepper

Honestly if you're being serious that's the only one.

Other than that the close calls would be:

Mclusky - Do Dallas
The Beatles - Revolver
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Pearl Jam - No Code

Don't even know, too hard

Ah it was a bit of a rash statement, in terms of the bands I love then yes.

I think what makes No Code so great is its imperfection. It's like a kid riding a bike without training wheels for the first time.

It's pretty close to perfect, but you get the McCartney dud When I'm 64

McCartney's biggest dud is his voice. I hate it.

I do understand what this album did for music history. I even like the circus music concept album approach. But man, I don't really enjoy it in practice except for a few songs.

While Exile is my favorite record of all time, I don't think it's perfect. Pretty close, as is Blood on the Tracks.

Sticky Fingers outdoes Exile for me. Pretty much near on perfect.

I rarely listen to Sticky Fingers without listening to Exile (and vise versa). I always feel like rolling right on through. And if I'm really in a Stones mood (which how can you not be after listening to those two records) I pop into Let it Bleed next.

Those 3 stones albums are probably the best period of any band in history. That is the original version of Vitalogy-No Code-Yield.

Maybe we should start a new thread for perfect 3-album runs?

Seriously, what album ever would put When I'm 64 after Within You Without You, it's genius

Sgt Pepper's isn't perfect because, like Binaural, the concept is half-assed.

I think I'd have found it a stronger album if some of the songs hadn't let down the concept. But even then, I didn't really enjoy the mooooosic yanno? That's going to be a problem right away. I'm not a Beatles fan; trippy Beatles is better but it's still not... good.
