So I see Danny the ever optimist is hoping to use this lockdown period to hopefully record a Tool EP

So by normal EP standards that would be like 1.5 Tool songs.

They can do it.

They’ll write it and then Maynard will take two years to finish it.

Maynard's never the weak link - he gets his bit done quick compared with the other guys
I mean in the time it took the other guys to write music between 10,00 Days and Fear Inoculum - he'd released 5 Puscifer Albums, an EP, Two remix albums and written lyrics for Eat the Elephant

With Justin saying he's been writing riffs during quarantine and Danny saying he's hoping they can come up with enough stuff for an EP during this down-time. I wonder if anything will actually come out the other side

I watched one and he seems cool but it's still just a reactions channel: forced enthusiasm hurled into an echo chamber of fandom.

God, I hate that 'busker who bangs and taps on acoustic guitar' thing.

It doesn't actually sound pleasant or musical, it's totally performative.

Thank you. I'm using my phone, and the hassle of working out the link just wasn't worth it

Listening to Lateralus on headphones. Still sounds fresh 20 years on.

Every time you feel like listening to Silverchair or the Sponges, you should listen to Tool instead.
