Did Axl seriously fuck the drummer's girlfriend and then use audio of the encounter on their album without telling the drummer about it until the album was already out?
That is completely nauseating on so many levels, I can't even begin to get into it.
"Who's the girl you're fucking on that last track?"

No wonder the dude fried his brain.
Imagine being the recording engineer at that session. I would need a barf bag, and an AIDS test and therapist afterwards.
As shitty as he's been to everyone around him for the last 25 years, you can't help but feel happy for the guy. Hope he makes an appearance in Foxboro in a couple of weeks...would love to hear him do Rocket Queen at some point this tour.
my wife and i fell down a youtube rabbit hole of guns n roses videos last night. eventually, some live vids from the current tour started to pop up, and it was just jarring.

We need more rockstars like this these days
God, please no.
I can't stand the adolescent garbage that passes for "rock n' roll!" mythology.
How do you feel about the mudshark legend? Zappa lampooned it brilliantly on Fillmore East.

This band is unstoppable right now...last night was amazing, even with only a half full stadium (at best)
If you've ever liked them at any point, go see this tour...it might be the only time Axl has his shit together, both in terms of his voice (which, whatever he did, please get Ed on that train please), and getting on stage on time

I saw them back in 1993 and it was amazing. The acoustic set they played was unbelievable. I love hearing that 23 years after that show that they are still impressing people. Makes me seriously ponder hitting up Seattle in August.

Saw them with Metallica, and Metallica blew them off the stage
Saw them 6-7 months later and they were better but far from great
Saw the first Scabs tour with Buckethead et al, that was pretty good
Last night made the other 3 shows look like amateur hours
