The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I am not interested in them taking old recordings and adding some new shot and releasing it and calling it new music.
I’m interested to hear what they would write today. Even though axl would sound worse…
don't hold your breath
it's hilarious that in the 5 years since this reunion took place we've gotten 2 warmed over Chi Dem leftovers from GNR while Slash now has a second record with Myles Kennedy ready to drop
that sort of says it all, doesn't it?
Besides, I'm a lot more excited for new Slash/Myles than I'd ever be for new GNR at this point...
Yeah Myles Kennedy is the type of talent you'd see at some random bar and think hey he's pretty good or loaded at some karaoke place you'd be like he sounds just like "X" but to actually sit down and listen to his record or pay to see him...no way.
he is super talented as a friend who was this garage band, and they kinda tour and have some albums....and you say yeah, he sounds like Axl or Cornell or whatever
I'd probably rather listen to someone taking a shit than a Myles Kennedy sung song so I'm firmly team warmed over Axl farts.
yeah, Slash might write a lot of music with that guy, but its not even close to even these singles
hard disagree
is Slash and Myles groundbreaking? Hardly. But it's fun rock and roll with an ace backing band.
Fair enough. I imagine after Axl and Weiland its fun for Slash to have a dude that can just hit the notes and isn't a pain in the ass.
Myles is definitely a guy who doesn't suffer from lead singer syndrome, so it makes sense he's replaced 2 of the guys with the worst cases of it (Axl and Scott Stapp)

They're rolling out a bunch of UYI 30th anniversary stuff, a million different packages... But uniform across all offerings is the fact that November Rain is re-recorded. So whether it's the streaming version or the Super Deluxe 8-LP version for $300 (or whatever it is), you're getting a new version of November Rain.
