I think fireplace is a fun song, but this isn't close. If you were an REM fan in 1995 you'll never forget the first time you heard WTF Kenneth and saw Michael with his shaped head and wondered how the hell this sound could come from a band that just made Out of Time and Automatic for the People.

Well said. "What's the Frequency" was a defining song of that era for me -- every time I hear it I am just completely transported. I love Buck's lead work in it.

I never liked Dan Rather. So I love WTFK.

Well said, stip. Also love Mills' melodic bass playing under and after, "A smile like the cartoon, tooth for a tooth."

Frequency, not a Fireplace fan.
