I listened to them all I just forget what ones I liked
I think I didn't like the one where they had an actual song called wilco, but did like the star wars one because it randomly popped up for dl while I was at the beach n we listened to it while boozing n eating hard shells all week
Deeper Down One Wing Bull Black Nova I'll Fight Art of Almost One Sunday Morning Random Name Generator Normal American Kids If I Ever Was a Child Cry All Day We Aren't the World
I need to listen to "Star Wars" again, I remember liking the album but I recall virtually none of the songs.
Hey Chicken (Loose Fur: Born Again In the USA) Random Name Generator (Star Wars) One Wing (Wilco: The Album) I'll Fight (Wilco: The Album) Bull Black Nova (Wilco: The Album) Pickled Ginger (Star Wars) Cold Slope (Star Wars) Someone To Lose (Schmilco) If I Ever Was a Child (Schmilco) Magnetized (Star Wars)
I listened to "The Whole Love" last night for the first time in a few years and really enjoyed it. It's kind of unwieldy, and perhaps not especially satisfying as a full-album experience, but song-by-song, piece-by-piece, it works, and has a lot of individual highlights (in addition to its titanic bookends, "Born Alone" has always been a favorite, and even though I've seen a few people cite it as Wilco's worst song, "Capitol City" has a Grateful Dead/Tin Pan Alley hybrid thing going that really hits me in the sweet spot). Lots of thoughtful flourishes throughout, even in the more straightforward numbers.
I started "Star Wars" but didn't make it far before falling asleep (not the album's fault). Tonight.

I really dislike this album. It's like a throwback to Tweedy's earlier songwriting style, with a lot of bloated production choices. The Tin Pan Alley comparison is apt though.
I Might is the worst song in the Wilco catalog. Other songs like Dawned On Me have the melody but are bedazzled into the ground with circus music. Nels tries to save songs like Born Alone but the circus music always wins.

I dont, but I believe I have all these but the first

Well then just pretend your playlist opens with this song (and if anyone's unfamiliar, Loose Fur is Jeff Tweedy / Glenn Kotche / Jim O'Rourke)
