Looks like Matt Chamberlain -- of "filled in as Pearl Jam's drummer for a few weeks in 1991 and appears in the 'Alive' video" fame -- is Dylan's current touring drummer. Sounds pretty good!

George Recile was the weakest link in his touring band. Good news then.

I'm not even a Dylan guy and this sounds fantastic:

Fascinating. He hasn't played guitar live for years.

That Cash/Dylan bootleg has had many plays over the years. Can’t wait to hear all of these.

Wow, I love this.

Apparently Dylan recorded it "a while ago," but it has a very Ghosteen-ish vibe to it.

Yeah, the somber, funereal vibe feels perfect for this moment in time. And unlike "Tempest" it doesn't feel its length.

He mentioned The Eagles Take It To The Limit and not Hotel California. I've always thought Limit was the better song too.

Also, the following lyrics from an extended version of the song were posted on a Dylan forum(rumored to be a 32 minute version):

play it for Eva, play it for mister Hitler
play it for Castro, for Mussolini's daughter
play it for Rumpelstiltskin, play it for Cher
play it for Goldilocks and for the 3 Bears
play it for Bill Cosby, play it for Cheech and Chong
play it for Bert and Ernie, play the Sesame Street song
play it for Bugs Bunny, play it for Scooby Doo
play it for Batman and for Spiderman too
play it for Greta Grunberg, play it for George Soros
play it for Vox Bono and for Prime Minister Boris
play it for Donald and Daffy Duck and for Elmer Fudd
play it for Meryl Streep and for Ashley Judd
play it for DiCaprio, play it for DeNiro
play it for Denzel, play it for Pacino
play it for Betty Boop, play it for Charlie Brown
play it for Porky Pig and for Goofy when he's down
play it for Fatty Arbuckle and his skinny valentine
play it for the girl who jumped from the Hollywood sign
and its one final movement deep in your bowel
no time for toilet paper, cos its murder most foul

Oh my. Another track that is possibly too big for an album.

More in this vein would be amazing
