My wife got me Gold Record on vinyl a while back but our turntable's belt is wonky so I haven't listened to it until recently when I bought the digital download from Bandcamp, and damn, I think this is one of Callahan's best. I get overwhelmed by double albums so I haven't dug into Shepherd as much as I should, so Gold Record is my favorite since Apocalypse. Just a wonderful record. Funny story, the best landlord we ever had was Bill's cousin. |

also confirmed — mssr berman introduces bill c to hannah’s fiction. as the story goes, david berman was something of a barry hannah evangelist |
